Welcome to Starlight Acres Farm

Raising Quality ADGA Nigerian Dwarf Goats

The Nigerian Dwarf goat breed is a small sized dairy goat that originated in West Africa. Despite being diminutive in size, they are known for their high milk production, making them an excellent choice for small homesteads or backyard farms.
Nigerian Dwarfs are typically around 17-21 inches tall at the shoulder and weigh between 50 to 75 pounds. They have a sturdy build and come in a variety of colors, including solid and patterned coats. Their friendly and curious nature makes them popular pets or show animals.
These goats excel in milk production, even exceeding the amount produced by some larger breeds. Despite their small size, Nigerian Dwarf does can produce up to two quarts of milk per day, with a high butterfat content. Their milk is renowned for its sweetness and creamy texture, making it ideal for cheese, yogurt, and other dairy products.
In addition to their exceptional milk production, Nigerian Dwarf goats are known for their ease of handling and gentle temperament.

About Us

Starlight Acres Farm is located in the beautiful River Valley of Arkansas in the town of Ozark. Our farm is home to cattle, horses, chickens and our goats. We started raising Nigerian Dwarf goats in 2022 when our daughter decided she wanted to show them in 4h. We purchased two doelings and one buckling. We have since expanded and added some new bloodlines and will continue to do so, so that we can continue to improve upon our herd.

As of 2024 we have stared showing in ADGA sanctioned shows and have done quite well with our Cedar View lines. We will also start participating in DHIR in 2025. Improving our herd is of the utmost importance to us here at Starlight Acres Farm!
